You can copy a section of your recording in the editor by clicking the Tools menu and then the Copy tool or by pressing the standard copy hotkey which is Ctrl-C on Windows or Command-C on Mac. First you select the section to copy by dragging the gray bar along the timeline. You can also click around the timeline then use the "S" key to jump the start to that point or the "E" key to jump the end to your current seek point. If you want to Preview the copy, you can press the Preview button which will play the section you have selected or if you're ready to go then you can press OK or the Enter key. Once you've made the copy, you can paste it into any recording in the editor by clicking the Tools menu then Insert and the Paste Recording option or using the standard paste hotkey which is Ctrl-V on Windows or Command-V on Mac In the Paste tool you can drag this blue bar to choose where to paste and Preview what it will look like by pressing the Preview option or if you're ready to paste you can press OK and the app will copy the new pasted section into that recording. You'll notice that after pasting you'll still have access to edit any overlays or transitions that are in the pasted section so they can still be updated. The paste option will also work if you use the Cut tool to remove a section of the recording and paste it elsewhere. Another cool feature of the Copy tool is that you can copy a section of your recording from the past by using the Edit History drop down to go back in time to a previous edit then use the copy tool to make a copy which will be available to paste when you go back to the top edit in your Edit History list.
