To replace a section of your recorded video you first seek to where you want to start your replace then click the "Tools" menu button above the timeline and select "Replace" then "Replace Video" or you can just press the "R" key and then the "R" key again to start the tool. When you replace the video you have the choice to keep or replace the narration and webcam if they exist in the current recording. In our example we just want to replace the video while keeping the narration and webcam so we'll leave these boxes checked. Select the section to replace by dragging the blue bar along the timeline or if you click on the start or end of the span then you can use the arrow keys to fine tune your selection. You can also click around the timeline then use the "S" key to jump the start to that point or the "E" key to jump the end to your current seek point. If you want to Preview what the replace will look like then you can press the Preview button which will seek right before the section and start playing then show a blank video where the replace will be added and then stop playback shortly after the section. Once you've got your selection ready you can press the Start button or hit the Enter key which will bring up a recorder which you can use to record new video. If you've selected to keep the audio then the recorder will playback the current narration while you are recording so you can follow along. The recorder will stop recording once the audio is done playing. Or if you selected not to keep the audio then you can record both video and audio and record for as long as you want. When you're done making your new recording you press the Done button to save the replacement. Anytime you add an edit to a recording it is automatically saved on your computer. After the replace is added a colored span will show on the timeline showing where the replace happened. If you want to remove the replace you can seek back to that spot on the timeline then click this icon which will bring up a menu with another icon you can press to remove the replace. You can also use the undo or edit history drop down to go back in time before you added the edit if you'd like to remove it. The last used tool will be listed next to the Tools button above the timeline so you can easily use the same tool again by clicking on it here.
