If you are a Mac OS user (MacBook, iMac, MacMini), and are experiencing issues when using the keyboard during your recordings (the Screencast-O-Matic Recorder Starts, Stop, Zoom), please try the steps below to troubleshoot.
1. Click the Apple Icon in the top left corner of the Desktop, then select ''System Preferences''.
2. Open the ''Security & Privacy'' preferences.
3. Select the ''Privacy'' Tab, then click on the ''Accessibility'' tab on the left. Please, un-check both the ''Screencast-O-Matic Launcher'' and ''SOM Process Helper'' options shown in the screenshot below:

Close the System Preferences menu, then restart your computer and try again to use the Screencast-O-Matic Recorder.
