If you are using a high-resolution monitor with the Screencast-O-Matic screen recorder, it will have the effect of making the Screencast-O-Matic Recorder and Video Editor controls and text appear very tiny.
To troubleshoot this issue you will need to set the monitor to use a lower resolution in Windows.
To do this please follow the instructions below:
1. Open "Start"
2. Select "Settings".
4. Select "Display" and on the right, scroll down and click on "Advanced Display Settings".
5. Under "Resolution", select a lower resolution value. The current resolution may be marked as "Recommended". We suggest trying the other resolutions until the application is appropriately visible.
There are no available settings within the App to increase the size of the controls. The only workaround will be to set your monitor to a lower resolution in Windows, per the instructions listed above.
