Music Intro Let's show you how to record video in a Scripted Recording. Click the section you'd like to start recording Click this button to bring up the recorder the recorder will show the sections we've selected on the timeline. You can navigate between sections using these buttons or by dragging on the timeline. Here's a box that displays the script text. You can place it anywhere on the screen by dragging it. This box won't show in your actual recording but if you don't want to see it, you can click on this icon and click on preferences to hide the box. Hit record when you're ready. Follow the audio and start recording your video. Click on the pause button or move to the next section when done. You'll notice the recorder will add silence at the end of the audio. You can move to the next section by clicking 'Next.' Or you can click on your own hotkey. Just set it up in the preferences menu. A great feature is that you can leave a section blank or stop the recorder before the audio ends, the recorder will fill this time with the last screen image. Click Done when you're finished. When you do this, the script editor will display and you'll notice different icons for each section. An icon will appear for those sections with silence. You can absorb silence which means the video will speed up to match the audio. You can cut out silence Or you can speed up the silence. Need to replace the video? Click on the section and re-record by clicking on the record button. You can continue adding more sections as needed. Here's an example, you can add another section in between these two. Click the end of a section. Hit Enter to create a new section and add audio and video like we did before. You're all done adding audio and recording video. You can move on to editing the video.
