Screencast-O-Matic has made it easy to backup your recordings online so you can save disk space and access your recordings from multiple computers. There are two ways to use this feature in the Screencast-O-Matic application. First, you can backup an individual recording by clicking on the Backup option in the upper right corner of the application window as shown here. If the recording is currently not backed up then you'll see this icon. Click Backup and then the Add Backup option to add this recoding to your secure online backup. It's important to note which account you are currently logged in with since this backup will only be accessible when using the application from this account. Once you click Add Backup the application will begin uploading your recording to your secure backup. You can click this button to continue the backup process in the background. Now we can see that this recording has backup's enabled by the green checkmark shown in the upper right corner. If we go back to the list of recordings we have on this computer then we can see the backup progress on the recording. Next let's see how to backup multiple recordings. When viewing the list of recordings on your computer, click on 'Manage Recordings' Select the recordings you would like to add to your secure backup. A blue box will appear around the videos you have selected. Click 'Backup' in the top menu and then click 'Add Backup' An icon will appear in the top right corner of each recording indicating that it is being uploaded. When it is done, a green checkmark will appear so you can tell which recordings are backed up. Once the recording is completely backed up you can delete it from your computer and Restore it later to access it on this or any other computer when logged in with your account. Any edits you make to a backed up recording will automatically sync to your online backup and be available on other computers where you've restored the same recording.
