Screencast-O-Matic supports online or "cloud" backups for your team members' recordings. Below will show admins how to setup the backup and restore functionality for a Team Premier account.
Setup Backup and Restore for your Team Premier Account
1. Go to your admin team subscription settings.
2. Under Recorder Options, click Configure.
3. Within Recorder Options, place a checkmark next to "Enable backup and restore". Click OK.
That's it! Your team now has the ability to backup their screen recordings while online to prevent loss or enable easy reuse among multiple computers.
Do my team members have limited storage space for their backups?
At this time, there is no limit to the storage space for backups.
Can I use this to feature to edit other people's recordings in the cloud?
Screencast-O-Matic backup and restore is for use by a singular user to backup their recordings. We are working towards a solution for collaboration between users on recordings.
