Admins: Enable Screencast-O-Matic Backup and Restore for your Team Premier Account



Screencast-O-Matic supports online or "cloud" backups for your team members' recordings. 
 

Setup Backup and Restore for your Team Premier Account

1. Login at Screencast-O-Matic.com, click your user icon and then click Settings.

2. On the left sidebar, ciick Team Recorder.  Under Backup and Restore you will see the option un-checked (off) by default.


 3. Place a checkmark next to "Backup and Restore". Click OK.

 

That's it!  Your team now has the ability to backup their screen recordings while online to protect against loss, save disk space, and enable easy reuse among multiple computers.

 

FAQ

Do my team members have limited storage space for their backups?

At this time, there is no limit to the storage space for backups.

Can I use this to feature to edit other people's recordings in the cloud?

Screencast-O-Matic backup and restore is for use by a singular user to backup their recordings.  You can collaborate with colleagues on a video editing project, please see this video.  We are also working towards a cloud solution for video editing collaboration.
