Uninstall and reinstall the desktop application on Windows OS
Uninstalling the Desktop Application:
To uninstall our app on a
Windows OS computer, please open the
Windows Control Panel and
uninstall any of these apps that you see listed:
- Screencast-O-Matic v2.0
- Screen Recorder Launcher
- Web Launch Recorder
Next,
restart your computer.
This step is important.

After you have restarted your machine, click the link below to download and reinstall the desktop application:
Launch the
Screencast-O-Matic application from the
Start menu on your computer.
