How to setup macOS Permissions for recording with ScreenPal

The ScreenPal recorder runs inside the Google Chrome web browser which needs access to these resources on macOS to make recordings:
  1. Screen Recording
  2. Microphone
  3. Camera

Steps to enable access:

1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences

2. Click Security & Privacy

3. Click the Privacy tab.

4. Select Screen Recording in the left column and make sure Google Chrome is checked.

Note: If the recorder continues to fail to start and you already see Google Chrome checked in the list for Screen Recording, then you will need to remove Google Chrome from the list, restart the Google Chrome app, and try again.

5. Select Microphone in the left column and make sure Google Chrome is checked.

6. Select Camera in the left column and make sure Google Chrome is checked.
