Grant permission to record on MAC OS

Grant Screen Recording permission

If you are experiencing issues recording your screen with our application using MAC OS, or if the application is only recording your background or wallpaper, follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.

1. On your computer, click the Apple menu on the top left corner of your screen.

2. Select System Preferences.

3. Click Security & Privacy.

4. Click the Privacy tab.

5. Scroll down and select Screen Recording on the left.

6.  Verify that the check box next to our application is selected, and has the permission for Screen Recording.


7. Close the System Preference window, restart your computer, and try again to record your screen. 


Give the app access to the camera on Mac

You can also grant permission to use the camera on your Mac. To do this, follow the steps below.

1. Click the Apple menu.
2. Select System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click Privacy.
3. Select Camera
    Note: If you do not see the Camera option, upgrade to macOS Mojave or later.
4. Select the checkbox next to our app to allow it to use the camera.

The list displayed here shows the applications you've installed that have asked to use the camera. If you remove access for an app, you are asked to turn it on again the next time that app tries to use the camera.

Grant access to the microphone on Mac

In addition to giving our app permission to use the camera, you will need to give the app access to your microphone for sound recording.

1. Click the Apple menu.
2. Select System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click Privacy.
3. Click Microphone.
4. Select the checkbox next to our app to allow it to access the microphone.
