How can I improve my game recordings?

Here are a few suggestions to get a better game recording:

  • Record the game in 'Windowed-Mode': If the game you're running is full-screen, you can usually switch to windowed-mode by pressing the alt & enter keys together.
  • To reduce lag, try keeping the recording resolution to 1280 x 720 (720p) or lower.
  • Sometimes playback in the recorder can appear to lag... so save your video to an .mp4 file and see if it plays back more smoothly.
